 Disability compensation

Disability means that you will not be able to get the same salary as you are in employment. Compensation is paid for temporary, partial, complete, permanent, and partial permanent disabilities.

Compensation will be paid every 14 days from the date of the employee's occupational accident.

The compensation is 2/3 of the employee's weekly salary. The maximum annual adjustment rate applies.  For more information on the maximum amount of compensation, please visit http://www.dol.gov/

 Temporary disability:

Temporary disability allowances are paid at 2/3 of the employee's weekly salary.

This power can be adjusted in proportion to the maximum power. For example, if an employee's weekly wage is $ 1,500, the temporary disability benefit is $ 1,000 per week (1,500 / 3 = $ 1,000).

 Temporary partial disability:

Temporary partial disability is paid for two-thirds of the employee's disability.  Example: A worker with a temporary disability earns $ 1,500 a week.

 If he or she earns $ 500 a week after a disability and loses $ 1,000, the benefit of a temporary partial disability is $ 666.67 a week ($ 1,000 * 2/3 = $ 666.67).

 Permanent failure:

Permanent disability benefits are calculated in the same way as temporary disability benefits. It can be paid as long as the disability persists. In the event of a permanent failure, annual maintenance will be paid. Permanent partial failure:

There are two types of permanent disability compensation. Compensation is paid for loss of body parts or ability to use them, such as loss of arms, hands, fingers, legs, feet, toes, hearing, or vision.

For each type of disability, you can pay compensation for a certain number of weeks, as required by law. This is known as a permanent partial failure.

For example, a one-legged worker is entitled to 205-week severance pay. Planned permanent partial disability is paid when the ability to work is permanently lost. Benefits are calculated in the same way as temporary partial disability benefits.

If there is no child to be compensated in case of death, the parents of the deceased employee can be compensated if they receive significant benefits from the child in the year prior to death.

The amount of compensation is 25% of the average weekly income of the father of the deceased employee, and the same percentage for the mother.

In the case of marriage, the widows or widows can receive a two-year allowance at a time. Children under the age of 18 will not be compensated.
